let it snow...

As snow covers my country, just like cocaine covers some people's nose I downloaded (thank's Alex) Sony Vegas pro 9. Hacked... and it's working ! Now all I have to do is to get some really nice HD camera. I'm just so excited when I see BBC footage. All that variety of reptiles plus the shot is so perfect and clear that you can see each scale on their skin.

About my leg. Still waiting for letter with my EHIC , already have received new bills from Finland. One for me, one for my employer. It will expire on the 23rd of December, so I have some time to act.

Killing time.

It's been more than one month at home, eventually with a cast on my left leg. Fracture seems to grow normally together. Now doctor allowed me to take cast off when I need to wash my leg. Suddenly my muscle became small and soft comparing to rocky one, but physio-therapy will It's job.... I hope so. It's really boring not doing nothing, but still we kinda go out. Last weekend we went to Tartu, I was commentator and judge at Tartu indoor skatepark. Judging was really strantge : two skaters in 3 minute jam, one of the best goes further. Expect to do my best with better judging on next competition this week in my home-town Tallinn.
Today my dear friend Maksim came from Moscow. Haven't seen him for about 7 months...
Last Friday Laura and her three friends went to Australia, currently they are at Malaysia, city called Kuala Lumpur. On next Friday they are going to Perth.

Flight to very eastern Europe

Last Monday I took a bus from Liverpool St. to Stansted airport, but all of a sudden I didn't had any printed out tickets. Quickly run to a photocopy shop/office and I gave my USB to a girl who worked there. When she was printing them I received a question from her "Are you from Estonia ?!". I was surprised too, quick chit-chat with her and same quick rush to the bus. Funny, but our way went thru all places where I lived before "Leyton, Bethnal Green" basically Central Line stations. Our way was 55 minutes long, beautiful green fields with horses, cows and sheeps on them were on both sides for about 40 minutes of our way. In Stansted I had a nice pint (0.568 L) of Stella Artois, which is a "problem-to-pour" beer, because of it's foam. The best things when you fly are take-off, turbulence and plane is shaking (when some people start panic) and landing.

I slept for about 1 hour and woke up when above the clouds was very beautiful: Sun was on west and on east it was becoming dark. When we were above Baltic Sea darkness completely ate all the light. Then we landed, for some "unpatriotic" reason only me and one Estonian women applause. The feeling when you are home is just priceless, mother, father and grandmother came to airport. Then when we were close to home, my friends  were waiting for me with posters in Estonian "TERE TULEMAST KOJU !!!". I was touched, my friends and my dad went to play Russian pool in good old Bamba near my house. Tuesday was complete race for me, I visited Kevin in reede, met Miku and Kennet too. Then my grandmothers and from 6pm to midnight celebrated my 21 with Russian friends in a Spanish restaurant Manolete, really nice place. Prices are cheap, and service is perfect. Really was worth it. On Wednesday I went to Pyaaskyla skatepark, after that straight to my grandmother, then back home to welcome Estonian friends. After 7 months everybody looked 7 months older - Captain Obvious. Had some drinks, told some stories to each other and Kristi took some pictures. Spice boys came later, with some "mary jane". Rolled up, lighted up and smoked it up. Estonian is very different British wide-spread-skunk. On Thursday we went to Kontula skatepark, there was 17 of us ! Finally we came to skatepark, really nice that they built new course every year/half year ? Skating was really nice, I just enjoyed doing ollies. Eventually I involved my self into bad business, wanted to ollie a transfer to flat. Landed few times, but did't rolled away. My last attempt ended with injury. I looked at my left ankle and was shocked. I started screaming to Lauri to call ambulance. Then I concentrated my mind on my ankle, if you turn it try to turn it back !!! It really helped me, because when my leg was dislocated 5 cm to left blood didn't circulated properly. It wasn't that easy, then by one quick move I grabbed ma ankle around and turned it back into right position. Blood circle was normalised.

. A complete drama, really I wouldn't never wish this kind of pain to any living creature, I was shaking and sweating then ambulance arrived. Lucky me but Dimas is living and working in Helsinki. He went to Hospital with me. I received first aid and CD with 3D model on ankle and X-RAYS. I at Dimas's place that night, night was terrible, pain was killing me. I ate 2 pain-killing tablets and fell asleep. Next day me and his room mate smoked really small amount of mary jane, but the plant was completely covered by THC crystals. It reduced my pain for about 4-5 hours. In the evening we both went back home to Tallinn. He - to celebrate his birthday. Me - to hospital. I was operated next day. Operation was only 20 minutes long, now I have a metal screw which is holding my 2 bones together. Now I'm going to spent 2 months with this screw and in addition I will spend 1 month visiting my doctor and analysing my ankle. Nasty shit.

I'm going back Tallinn, Tallinn

Well, at last ... I decided to write something new, week after I'm gonna get 21. So to celebrate a birthday with my closest friends is a great decision. As I have only 5 days to see everybody, decided to make kind of "rota" for my week. Arriving on Monday in late evening, so I will see only my relatives. On Tuesday I celebrate with russian friends, Wednesday: Paaskyla park and finally some thing will happen on Thursday. On Thursday we (apl, rukeli) are going to Helsinki. BIG THANK'S TO MIHKEL, he got some cheap tickets, so for the current momment on the boat: Miku, Sanja, Kevin, Jaak, Ranno, Silver, Tom, Samu, Eron, Kriks, Kaspar - that's it ?... I think the list might change, we'll see.
So, my dear friends, I will see you during 18-22 of October in Tallinn !!!

Well skate session for today is over, Felipe Dal Cin ripped the "Elephant and Castle" spot with many lines. For example: nollie manual to nose manual; kickflip foot plant; back tail; bs nollie , ss bs 5-0. I've seen a lot of style from fisheye, let's just wait some time for the LCB skate shop video...

Okeeee, we gooo... Last weekend wasn't rich with footage, so we just chilled most of the time. On Saturday we went to Jan Schuster's place and partied hardly. He is from Vancouver, Canada and here with his girlfriend. She was studying - he was working and skating. I had a long-lasting party, cause other guys passed out quickly, Peter threw up and spent about 2 hours hugging a toilet. Me and Saimon (brazilian) had 2 spliffs. We spent almost 2 hours talking about deep philosophy stuff. Happy end.

Can't believe that I missed "Kuldrula" second time ...

Holidays

Holidays. Feels good. You wake up and you're not supposed to do anything. And it's going to last for two weeks so. During whole last month nothing special happened. I was always working and skating on weekends. On previous Saturday my old friend Maria came to London to listen "The Apples". We came to my place, booked tickets on-line and then lighted up a blunt. Then we came to Camden Town - a mothership of nightclubs, pubs and discos. We came Jazz Caffe, where received our tickets... The concert was amazing, they didn't warmed up, just came and started playing jazz. Crowd was full of energy and Maria was completely baked, so we went straight home after concert. Yesterday she went to Amsterdam, kinda funny: we supposed to wakeup at 4.30 am and be at Liverpool Street station at 6.10 am. Easy mission almost failed, because she woke up and turned my alarm off. By some miracle reason, we woke up at 5.58 am and in a quick rush ran to station... About 6.15 am I said "good bye" to her and she took a train to Amsterdam.
Besides good news there are sad ones as well. Yesterday 9/08/2010 my grandfather Aleksey Hlabov died. Death probably was caused by smoking and drinking. Really sad about this, but this is life so I will keep up smiling no matter what... In 1970-s while he was driving a truck, his comrades - thiefs wanted to get away with truck and said that he'll get 20%  (I don't know what exactly happened). But he didn't listened to them. They assaulted and one hit him into head with hammer and  disappeared. Sometimes you pay like this, if you are too honest. Operation ended with stainless steel plate in his head.

TODAY !
Today happened pretty much unexpected thing ... Maria Ficher came to London to visit group "The Apples" , I never heard about them. But anyway we're going there, because ticket are waiting for us ! More story whole weekend, stay tuned !!!

Last times ... I skated as much as was possible, and visited with Mile End skaters, a lot of street spots. My ankle still doesn't allow me to skate how I would actually prefer. So my choice became bowl/pool. Can't compare my skills with other skaters, cause they're better ...

And sad news are that I'm not going back to Tallinn, a the same time I don't regret cause in my "hands" is whole London and 2 weeks of hollydays ! So I'll try to get some footage...
